Starting the Mench Tech Blog

Hi, welcome.

My name is Mench. I'm a technology enthusiast—when I don't feel too much impostor syndrome to call myself enthusiast.

More specifically, I have stepped up to different roles in tech including Developer, UI Designer, Product Lead, Project Manager, Solutions Designer, & Data Analyst. Across these many hats, these many names, my most satisfying work involves the mental challenge. I like evaluating, ideating, and pitching products and features. I see them form easily in my head and I enjoy sharing the vision with a team to realize it.

That vision is partnered with the knack for writing. I enjoy having information laid out and arranged the best, most understandable way possible. I like both visualizing it in a succinct manner, or creating comprehensive and beginner friendly explanations, depending on which is needed for a particular situation.

I'm starting this blog to have a space for those thoughts. It will include all topics under the umbrella of the technology industry, probably cross a bit over design. Contents will vary from explanations, debatable conclusions, food for thought, some tutorials, a narrative of what I'm currently building, attending tech conferences, great workspace and hotdesking recommendations I have been in, and the like. I'd definitely add reviews regarding computer parts when we get the money for that. As of now, we are poor, but rich in digital resources. So let's focus on that.

I have also written articles in LinkedIn, just a few to test the waters, but I feel somehow shy sharing beginner articles in my network of super people. I adore those connections, ranging from juniors to CTOs at work. Admittingly, I feel fear on disappointing them with the articles I publish. I confirm that my primary reason of creating this separate blog is to have a space to throw in my thoughts without sharing with my immediate network. True, I could have written in paper, but that is not searchable, and I support the paperless advocacy. 😆

When I feel better confident with the knowledge I'm sharing, I will share this blog publicly.
